I have been feeding Fred on a Raw diet now for over a week. I feed the Amount given by Leerburg Site for a 65 lb Female and i give him all the supplements they say.
But i cannot feed him Chicken like they do Chicken Backs and necks i cannot get over here in Belgium enough to keep the Dog fed, So i feed him Chicken Wings and chicken Legs. But everything else on the Leerburg Diet i can feed him
His stools are quite firm and i can see a lot of small pieces of bone in the stools
Am i giving him too much bone in the diet, should i feed a bit more solid meat, other than this he is looking well. but this bone in the stools has me worried

A week is pretty short for the bone-digesting enzymes to kick into normal gear; I'd maybe add some probiotics. But I see bone bits when I give legs. No worry.

Thanks for the help. In the mornings i normally feed him Beef Hearts, or Chicken Hearts or Chicken Livers, I got these after a lot of trying to get anything for the Pup in the form of offal
The Chicken Wings and Chicken Legs are for Humans although saying that i do not eat chicken wings, I buy these from the Supermarket,
Then at night i feed his vegetables if it is on the chart and chicken wings one night , chicken legs the next, then the third night Ground or over here Minced Beef
all the supplements, like Vitamin E, Mega Tablets Salmon Oil etc come via Leerburg, but the freight and Customs costs make it a very expensive way to go but if i have to continue to buy this way i will
I will look for the live culure yogurt tomorrow, how much does he need of this a day in spoonfulls on his food
I did notice in a shop some Canine Digestive Enzymes in tablet form should i give him a couple of these a day
Will' he did have a job to go the other day, but my brother said he did four good dumps tonight and he did not strain but the bone he could still see in the stools
I will do as you and Connie says and hope he will be okay
He certainly has plenty of energy, and i am pleased i changed his diet to Raw
