well I took the Plunge and now own a 4 month old red brindle Bouvier puppy . Because I am insane I also purchased a 6 month old Borzoi pup. . this works well actually, the borzoi runs as fast as he can aand the bouvier chases him ,so they are both getting plenty of exercise, including up and down the 22 steps to the upstairs part of the house . Sugah the bouvier will also walk on a board suspended between 2 cinder blocks and jump over a 6 inch jump for me. he is awsome on the leash and I take him and the borzoi and my 11 year old collie out at the same time and it is always a good walk !!
I know I have to be careful of his growth plates and all but what else can I be teaching him and the borzoi ? He is going to be huge mongous so I am glad he is such a happy equitable puppy!
I just had him in a conformation match for the Charleston KC
and he did great! he just wiggled his way around the ring ..
I am not sure how to send a photo of him. can I e mail someone
a photo so they can post it ?
Thanks in advance for any ideas for games and training
I dont want to push him too hard and keep it fun for him .
is there anyone in the Charleston SC
area I can work with with him ?
Three dogs is a dog pack. You should start to study it because your probably going to need the information. Those who own dog packs and ignore pack strucutre are those who end up with behavioral problems.
In your case those will probably start in about 12 months when the olfder pup starts to reach maturity.
Read my free ebooks on pack strucutre and leadership
Thanks ED
Did I mention the 2 cats I have here too ?
and I agree with you about the pack . I have to watch since they have started to challange my 11 year old. But he knocked the Borzoi on his butt a few days ago..
