<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Hello all, I feed my dogs beef, chicken, lamb, you know, the usualls. A friend of mine feeds his dogs deer, bison, moose, wild boar, caribou, rabbits, and beavers. Is it okay to feed a dog that kind of meat <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> ? He said it was the best diet and was as close to the natural diet of dogs as possible, but I want to know what you guys think. I have fed Deer ribcages quite a bit through the winter and haven't had a problem. You need to watch them with any of the leg bones though as they are too small and will shatter.
I never give up the moose meat to the dogs. They are kinda tasty. I find out in 5 more days if I will be able to get a moose permit this year. If I get one, I suppose I will share some with the dogs. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
