Wow! 13 yrs old - what a dog! That's got to be unusual.
That video brought to mind a few thoughts. Like the "severe dog lacerations" (GOOD DOG!) - reminds me of a K9 motto I read once "If Ya Didn't Get Stitches Ya Didn't Get Bit" and "It's Not The Pursuit Of Happiness, It's The Happiness Of The Pursuit".
Also, I was happy to hear the officer say he leaves his front window open when making an arrest (or stop). I heard once of an officer that got killed by a creep, his dog barking wildly in the backseat trying to come to his aid during the scuffle, but couldn't get out to help him. This broke my heart. I would hope all officers would give their dogs access to get out when they stop someone.

Good stuff!! My favorite part is that Zeno(sp?) was 13 years old!!! I would expect nothing less from a younger dog, but for a "geriatric" (by canine standards) old guy, this is really an impressive and fantastic story - guess the body can age but a good heart will always stay strong. I hope he lives long and happy in his new retirement and bet they throw him a big party to send him off.
