That link is to some pics of my new GSD, call name Murphy. He's from SG Vimo vom Alschbachtal out of SG Gia von der Berger Hochburg. He's a little bear, and looks to be a "full coated" dog. We picked him up Friday afternoon (17Aug07). He's just about 9 weeks old, and already housetrained/crate-trained.
Looking forward to all this guy has to teach me, and exploring the world with him.
What a beautiful puppy. I'm feeling puppy fever again, every time someone posts a puppy pic I get all mushy inside. He's so precious. Is he huggable, does he let you hug him?
I have GOT to hug a puppy. I never got the hug urge out of me cause Lear never did nor does he now let me hug him . Only time I get 1-2 seconds of a hug around him is when I put his food down. That's cause food is a great distractor.
Yup, I'm lucky; he LOVES close contact at the moment. There are even times when I'm holding him that he puts his head down on my hand, pressing as if to say "Well, I don't have those wild flexi-arms like you, but this is a doggy hug!"
As for needing a puppy fix, I totally understand that. It's rough being away from him during the workday. :frown:
