I like to reward the pup when they exhibit the kind of behavior I want to see. This way it's a natural way and the pup doesn't develop a dislike for what I'm trying to accomplish (because it was their idea to start with). You always want to keep something to bite on handy for those moments when you need to redirect her and keep plenty of treats handy also when she exhibits the kind of behavior you want to see in the future. No pressure is the name of the game sis. There is plenty of time for formal training later when the pup is mature enough for it. Your puppy needs the time to get over herself first (and discovering all the cool things around her) without the added pressure of training.
