Thanks for all the suggestions. Sandy the fly strike I'm talking about is when the fly lands on the dogs ears (usually on the tip) and then bites. It can turn really ugly fast if your not right on top of it.
My kennel floor in the particular kennel I'm most concerned with is half concrete and half pea gravel.
Swat is a brand name for a type of ointment that was created for horses I believe. I didn't know they had two different kinds of it though. The type I've been using is the white kind.
I kind of have the feeling that part of the problem comes from some of the little pieces of feces that might have fallen down in the rock where I can't see it to pick it up when I clean, but the flys can smell it still.

The fly traps and finding out what kind of chemicals would be safe to spray in there sound like good ideas to me. Thank you for all the help. If there are anymore please type away.
