Just in (september 15) down here in South Florida. I happen to be one of the dog owners that buy these products....i fugured: "hey, its dried chicken breast---> how could i go wrong with something like this ? "
I have actually heard a lady on CNBC say that we should all just shut up about China putting lead in the toys and poison in the food. I looked for it with Google and here's the clip: CNBC-China is ur buddy! --Rediculous
You are wise to avoid anything from China, but everything is from China, it seems! We have an embargo against Cuba, but one of the most notorious millitary bases and detention centers we have is in Cuba. Meanwhile, we are importing communist Chinese goods like it is going out of style, mainly due to consumers not having enough money to pick and choose, only to settle for the least expensive.
But then if you try to make your own treats, you will find that most of the internet recipies require wheat, unless you are willing to cook some beef liver in the oven overnight. Mine was crispy in the morning with a stank that left the apartment reeking for days! Or there is Liver Biscotti: Biscotti But that is purdy pricy, for me. You could use hotdogs, or get chicken breast from the store and dehydrate it yourself (possibly?!) but then again, what did that chicken eat? You don't want to know! So, ultimatly, I just choose to look the other way, and consider myself good for not feeding the dog anything but human grade food-and I have to wait until I can buy some land and raise my own chickens until Bella or I can really eat well!

Latest recall on product made in China: leukemia drug tainted with some other drug. Looks like our medicine is being made over there too. What hasn't been caught yet before we take it. Total madness.
