To respond TO THIS TOPIC, post here.
To start a new thread (a new topic, a new question), do this:
The first screen after Login is the list of forums. (Also, at any time you can get to that list of forums by clicking on the red words “Forum List” up above any board page.)
Scroll to the forum that is the subject you want to post about.
Click on the name of the forum.
Now you see a list of posts about that subject.
Above the list of threads, on the left, is a little box that says “New Topic.”
When you click on “New Topic,” your empty posting box appears. The “subject” line is where the curser automatically falls.
Fill in the subject, do “return” or “enter,” and post the question. Then below you can “submit” your post, or you can “preview” it, and then “submit.”
I just received the basic trainging DVD and can't wait to watch it and continue to train my younger german shephard Holly my male german shephard Drak is basically trained when we tood him for outdoor traing but I want to reenforce and get myself better to how to control my dogs. I am hoping I can get to the stage of the dogs being able to ignore the other dogs unless I instruck them that they can, if this is correct to do.
I am not a trianer but I have been working with one for about 3 months with my Pit Mix's. I can tell you that you can teach your dog to ignore other dogs if you want to. In fact it should be relatively easy.
