Beef (and pork) tongue is a muscle meat and can be fed accordingly. Although my dogs will eat it, it is not their favorite. I think it is a texture thing with them!
Rereading your post, tongue is not meant as a whole meal - only the muscle meat part of it. It does not replace rmbs.
Thanks Jan, that was my question. I didnt mean for it to replace the Rmbs but if I could feed it like a muscle meat or as a smaller percentage like an organ.
As with any new food - I would introduce it slowly just to avoid any unpleasant side effects. However, I have found that tongue is not as rich as heart, so you may have no trouble at all.
