I get a lot of emails - most are asking training questions- some are to tell me how stupid I am and that my head is a little to far up my "YOU KNOW WHAT" or that I must be related to their crazy uncle in the insane asylum.
I have to say I have never got one email like the one that came today. I have posted it below.:
Dear Mr. Frawley,
In 2002 I wrote you about an incident with a neighbor's dog, and you kindly offered advice which I followed. The owners of the offending dog put up a chainlink enclosure (including a chainlink top) for him and soon after that they were cited for raising dogs for fighting and moved away, in haste it seemed to me.
I did not realize you had published my letter, including my full name and town, and your answer, on your site until two years later when I received a call from a man named Willis Riehle, who said he was researching a dog bite case here locally and wondered if I could assist him, having looked me up in the phone book. Something in his voice made me invite him over to discuss it, and six months later we were married, on October 1, 2004. He says that my letter on your site was my singles ad, and that what it really said was, "Come and get me, if you think you're qualified." Bet you didn't know you were running a dating service!! LOL So, thank you very much, both for your help and for my wonderful husband.
I have a new story to tell you. Some nice people bought the trashy place across the street and have been making it into a very nice property, including a 6' chain link fence all the way around the place. They have three beautiful dogs, a Weimaraner and two smaller red dogs of uncertain breed, which live together in one pen. I read on your site where this is a no-no as they are now a pack. The other day they got out of their pen when the gate was open and were on my property when I drove in from errands. I am sending you a copy of the letter I've written them. Certain things about my response during the incident will have you calling me a dope I am sure. But I am sending you all this stuff so that you can publish whatever parts of it you choose with your comments if it may help someone else.
