Just one thing though....please remember that as your pup grows and gets stronger, you may want to switch to a standard leash 5' to 6' for walks.
I have seen large, strong breeds take off on a flexi and snap it. Much to the owners dismay.
You can always have her on a long line if needed (or wanted).
If your obedience work is coming along like you explained, then I would just keep and eye on her and see what happens.
Just wanted to let you know what to watch for.

Carol, I will watch for that. I want to get the Basic Obedience video before I attempt to teach the 'heel', so I will switch her to a regular leash when I start her heel training. I think she will learn quickly; she's very 'treat' motivated and has learned the sit, down and touch commands very quickly, and is pretty consistent with those commands.
