I've only been on this board a few days and I just wanted to express my humbled feelings (and here I thought I knew something about dogs :blush and gratitude to have found such an incredibly rich resource of people who care for and respect their animals. Thanks to Ed Frawley and all the moderators and thanks to all the board users. I look forward to reading and sharing with everyone

Dvijapatni,
You are 100% correct that this is a great place for all kinds of information, support and advice.
Glad to see you aboard.
I would also like to say Thank you to everyone for all of the help I have recieved. My dogs are the better for it and I have grown as a handler as well.
Ed has created a great place and I am very grateful for that.

Me too. A big part (besides the amazing level of expertise here) is the refusal to allow the board to slide the way of most of the dog forums -- into non-dog chit-chat. That's fun, but there are loads of other sites for that. It's great to have a REAL dog-and-just-dog forum.
I second everything Carol said, including how much I've learned here, and a welcome to you Dvijapatni.
And a huge thank you to Ed Frawley and Cindy Easton Rhodes for the way this forum is run, and mostly for the forum itself and for all the work they put into their great articles. True dog lovers, both of them, for sustaining such a huge forum for such a long time, especially without any outside advertisements. I'd rather look at Leerburg's items anytime.
Kinda funny...I have heard people talk about other forums and I will admit, once or twice I've thought, hmm..maybe I'll check that site out but then I think..why? LOL! I expect loyalty from my family, friends, dogs, then why shouldn't I be loyal to Ed and the Leerburg forum, eh? Besides, I have a saying...why mess with perfection, heehehehhe.
Thanks for all the nice comments, we appreciate all the time and information you all contribute.
I learn something here every day myself!!!
We also appreciate the adherence to board policy. It makes it a bit more difficult to manage, but as Connie says there are many places on the net to talk about things other than dogs, we want this to be a resource for people who are serious about dogs, whether they are pet owners or LEO or obedience competitors.
This board's value is largely determined by all of you! Thanks to all of you for your support. We appreciate it very much.
