I think I may have gotten too many shots too soon. I had only found this site no more than about a month ago... wish i saw it earlier. my pup was born on 7/16/07 and had 3 sets of shots by 9/22. the vet the breeders reccomended used a 2 week interval. he says the company of the vaccines say to give shots every 2 weeks.
Clarify by spelling every little thing out. Some people can be extreme when drawing their own conclusions.

Yes, the protocol used by the vet is often based on nothing more than what the manufacturer wants them to do, which clearly sells more vaccine.
But you still have the ability to say no to annual "boosters," to non-core shots, etc.
Maybe Cindy, who has a ton of puppy experience (I don't) will see this and comment.
You also have the ability to enhance his immune system every chance you get, with excellent food, daily exercise, etc. :>
Don't worry about your pup now unless you have physical reason to worry - what's done is done. I myself had a little panic attack about all the vax MY pup was given - and I didn't find this site till he was nearly 2!! But there's no sense dwelling on what you can no longer change, just be glad you're learning NOW and keep up your research so that YOU can decide what's best for your dog in the future. As Connie said, most vets will suggest multiple boosters a year, but hardly any of them are required by law, and many are just plain unneccessary. Your pup is only a few months old and you have the power to say no to a lifetime of over-vaccination, if you choose... I'd say you're in a good place!!
