Howdy Mike
current dog situation is we've got 2 GSD's, 1 of which we rescued in Jan. and the other bought from a kennel. Both are pets and could sure use some more walking! I've been trying to find this dog park where you can rent the space by the hour and just take your dogs....it's supposed to be fenced and works on reservations so you don't have to deal with other peoples's dogs......We're just starting to get back out there to walk them since it's finally cooling down. I've been reading/studying this site for a few years and between this, Cesar Milan and Susanne Clothier I've got a lot of good information. Feels like I just started to really learn dogs in the last few years even tho we've both had them all our lives! Very grateful to the folks on this site for all their support and experience!
I am in the southeast Houston area (Clear Lake). We have a new GSD pup, almost 5 months, and we are working on some basic obedience as we investigate shutzhund and S/R work. Let's exchange information as we learn new resources for GSD's around Houston. I have visited with the Greater Houston Schutzhund club, and they are nice folks!
