will my dog stop trying to eat me? LOL - I can't wait til he's done teething!!!!!!!!!!! I'm covered in scratches, and almost lost a couple of toes this evening. Dang dog....good thing for him he's so cute (although he seems to know it, unfortunately).
Uhhhhh, no....???? I guess I'm not getting what you're getting at? (He's a mouthy, teething puppy - not trying to dominate, as far as I can tell - and he does get corrected and/or re-directed for mouthing/nipping)....
Hang in there...like I was told, someday, he won't do that anymore and you'll be looking at your old dog, grey, laying on his bed...relish these moments.
Redirect, redirect, redirect...(and bleed some ) and redirect...
I don't recall, is this dog a pet, sport, working?
It gets better! Chula is a little older than Kodee, and I have noticed some improvement over the last 2 weeks as she is getting through the teething process. When she's really snarky (just won't be redirected and keeps chewing or nipping for attention), I do 2 things. Redirect by doing a short obedience session, and/or tie her to me. She settles down within a minute or two when I can control her every move with the leash, right at my side, even at her snarkiest. This works really well in the evening and I can do it while I'm sitting and watching the boob tube or reading.

haha, I was just stating what my pair of 8 month old knuckleheads do, and have done since 14 weeks old. If a lil nipping and biting is all you have to worry about, then it ain't all bad Hang in there. One day it'll get better.
