Hello, I live in Western Wisconsin--Colfax to be exact. I am having trouble finding a food distributor that handles either chicken backs or necks. Any help would be appreciated....Thanks

One dog?
You could start with supermarket quarters while you look for backs.
I know this sounds counterintuitive, but I found that the butchers in natural-foods stores (a large national chain and a small county-wide chain) were happy to supply whatever I wanted because I'm a good customer and because I give them advance notice so they can prepare my order at their leisure (when it's not busy).
But others on the board live near you and I'm sure you'll get some suggestions.
Three dogs! English Bulldog, Rat Terrier and a Neapolitan Mastiff.....I have beef and venison that I feed for my staple red meat, just need a bone source. Thanks

Any reason why you do not use chicken quarters while you find a back and neck source?
I feed venison and elk, but I do not feed a whole lot of beef (geesh that sounds weird since we are surrounded by cattle).
I will feed buffalo though.......
Until The Tale of the Lioness is told, the Story will Always Glorfy the Hunter
You might be able to get whole fryers even cheaper.
Do you hunt or get the venison from hunters? Or is it store bought? I like to feed all deer bones minus the legs. They are very edible for my 14 lb'er.
