I HAVE A 3YR. MALE GERMAN SHEPARD. HE IS A HOUSE DOG. HE HAS BEEN OVERLY PROTECTIVE LATELY WITH ME OVER PEOPLE HE HAS KNOWN. I AM SINGLE AND WORK FULL TIME.I LOVE HIM AND I WANT TO BE ABLE TO TRUST HIM AROUND PEOPLE THAT VISIT. I DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO PUT HIM AWAY FEARING HE MIGHT HURT SOMEBODY. IS HE TO OLD TO TRAIN? ANY HELP IN THIS MATTER WOULD BE GREATLY APPRICIATED. ELMO WOULD APPRICIATE IT ALSO. THANK YOU

This question was posted by a new member. I am closing the thread. It should have been posted to Behavioral Problems and not Protection Training Adult Dogs. This has nothing to do with protection training.

In addition - I would recommend new members go back and read some of the older posts along with the articles and Q&A sections on my web site. Most of the time you will find that the questions have been answered many times http://leerburg.com/articles.htm
