Lynne Barrows Webboard User Reg: 09-22-2007 Posts: 2531 Loc: S. Florida Offline	I have come to the conclusion that my pup views my husband as the alpha in our house. He does not take an active part in her training, but does take her out at midday from her crate and plays with her at times. When she sees him she wags her tail furiously and does a lot of air licking. She never does this with me... I have the puppy DVD and am ordering the Basic Obedience and Pack leader for house dogs DVD's. Later I will get the Building Drive and Focus DVD... In general she listens to me, but she gets cheeky sometimes when she wants attention/needs to burn off some energy (example: nipping me in the back of my leg for attention) When she does this I try to immediately do some obedience, or tie her to me... and then take her out, if she needs to burn off some energy... Is this a problem as far as her training goes? (not viewing me as alpha)
