I have recently come into possession of a young rottie. Long story of how I came to have this dog. I won't bore you with the details. The pup is 14 weeks old. I know nothing about his parents.
Is there any type of growtn chart to help me predict his future weight and height based upon his current size?

So he is nearly 4 months old and 34 pounds, has gained 6 pounds in 2 weeks.. not being able to see him, and assuming he is in good condition and not fat.. I'd estimate his adult weight to be around 85-100. Difficult to gauge not seeing him, but from the 8 rotties I have raised or watched grow/helped raise (My family loves rotties) I'd ballpark his adult weight in the 90's, being at the weight he is now. If he is pretty stocky and compact he will likely weigh a bit more, if he is lanky/leggy he may be less.
Don't take my word as law, however, puppies are good at having unexpected growth spurts. I love Rotties, they are and always will be one of my favorite breeds.
My wife swears this pup will end up being somewhere in the 120 range. Based upon the growth of our other Rottie, I'm thinking 90-100. I wasn't able to make application from the chart posted above
I, too, love Rotties, but I had sworn I would neve have another as they just don't have the stamina and agility that I like. The temperment and drives that my Rotties have had has always been great. The down side is each one has blown out a CCL. I think they're just too top heavy to make a sharp, abrupt turn. All that weight puts too much stress on the CCL. They also don't have the stamina for the jogging I do.
My wife says my GSD looks like a sissy and is not a manly dog, but the GSD is a lot more utilitarian, jogging 4 miles with me in the Florida heat a few times each week.

Well if that's the case, pup Macy will be 77. Yikes. (although, she was a bit fat when we brought her home).
I didn't know that trick. Let me try it on my sheltie, who is now full size. At 4 mo. he was about 12 pounds...26.5, and he's about 28....pretty close. Not bad.
It may be a little off on the Sheltie. The vet said it's for Large breed dogs. For Giant breed he said triple the weight and add 10%. He didn't give a formula for smaller framed dogs.
