I am looking at getting a subscription to a "dog" magazine, and I'm not sure which one would be best. I don't know if any would be more applicable to working with therapy dogs or not. I was thinking about The Whole Dog Journal, since it doesn't include advertising, and looks like it covers holistic dog care. Thanks It also has Mary Strauss, who (IMHO) is one of the best canine nutrition researcher/writers around. There have been several threads about WDJ: all positive, that I recall. It focuses on holistic health and purely positive training.

It's chock full of canine nutritional information instead of having inane articles about Paris' dogs, or what store sells the best puppy stocking stuffers - actual usable stuff - what a concept!
