You think you have it bad, poor brutus's almost hairless belly doesn't always clear the snow so he get's cold fast and wants to go back in as fast as possible in this weather and then spends 15 mins making love to the heating vent as soon as he gets back in.
I can't wait until his legs are longer or the city gets to plowing after a storm a bit
quicker. They still haven't gotten to our street!
oh poor guy! i keep finding all these places where the sidewalk machine has been through and then appears to have randomly veered off and left at a completely illogical place.
i honestly think this'll melt before the city finishes clearing it. blech.
i guess i shouldn't complain too much. luc'll willing run through all sorts of crap with me and come back from a run soaking wet (he really likes to snuggle - teagan likes to play with a toy, luc just wants to stick his head against you. heh. i got a new bed for teagan in the den (nice and soft for her hips) and she's taken to lying in it, staring at the rabbits while she bites down and death shakes the side of the bed. she's so subtle.) - whenever he does, i'm always like 'augh! stay away until i get a towel!'

LOL! is 'mutter under your breath a lot' good advice
actually, usually i only make luc sit when we're running if we get a red light b/c i don't like stopping, but last night i started throwing in a few randomly to get him to practice more 'in drive'.
your response got me thinking - our obed. routine is getting a little predictable, and i don't think luc's responses are as sharp as a result. and realisitically, it doesn't cost me that much on a run to stop a few times, i'm just so used to not stopping unless i absolutely have to.
Bayley will sit in the snow no problem, but will not 'down' in the snow so I'm glad she's not the only one out there. I don't blame her she doesn't have a really heavy winter coat on her.
