Yikes; that's too bad. Sounds like trying to mail things back and forth to Russia (my daughter's dad is Russian). Hmmm....a vacation in Belgium...I could brush up on my French, right? Now...how to escape.......
If I give my dogs cheese, there is a SERIOUS olfactory consequence. Am I the only one?

My dogs X mas meal consists of Mom's special rabbit meatloaf ( I have a friend that raises a marked breed of bunny and I get the culls), topped with cheddar and a bit of tripe.. I never get any complaints about having the same thing every year.
If i could get my Cheddar Cheese regular, i would not mind being a Dog
Steve, try this website - maybe you could go into the cheddar cheese making business and become rich in Belgium . If not, it might suffice to feed your dog at least! http://www.gourmetsleuth.com/cheeserecipes.htm

OMG, Steve - Do you see what I started? This thread began with how to take care of your dog at Christmas time. Now you are probably going into the CHEDDAR CHEESE making business!!!!!

Lee, I am sorry, but if i had a Chunk of Canadian Cheddar in my grasp. Pup 'Fred' would have to take my hand as well to get it away from me, No' i would buy some of the Belgian Cheese for the Dogs willingly,
But give them my Cheddar if i had any , No Chance
If i had a big enough place this Cheese making could have been a good idea, then i could sell some decent cheese to the Belgians
No offence to any Belgian Posters for that remark, but i hate the Belgian Cheese
