I have a new dog. And boy is he a jumper.
are all the sports for pure breeds are there more for mutts or mixed breeds. If so does anyone know of any in the Houston/Galveston area. I want to get him in something he is very happy already but I want to start working with him. Jewel is doing good also with her training. So any help would be great.
There are two pretty prominent agility organizations that welcome mixed breeds dog for competition - USDAA (Untied States Dog Agility Association) and NADAC (North American Dog Agility Council). You can also compete in UKC events with a mixed breed dog.
If you go to one of those websites you should probably be able to find events and people you can contact in your area.
Try out http://www.k9cpe.com - Grace and I will be attending our first show in this venue on Saturday and I have heard really wonderful things about it.
