WANTED: German Shepherd Dogs for a hip laxity force plate study.

Requirements:
1. The dog must be between 6 months of age and 1 year of age
2. Able to walk on a leash without pulling
3. Have no known orthopedic problems and no lameness.
4. Ability to come to the University of Pennsylvania and leave your dog for 4 hours.

What your dog does:
Your dog trots across a force plate (a plate on the ground with a platform) to access the dog’s gait pattern. This will be correlated to the hip laxity we see on the PennHIP radiographs.
