Oh my gosh! Too fun, too fun! To think that today I almost bought a miniature bat (some novelty leftover xmas thing) at Wallyworld for my future walks w/Levi! I managed to hand it to the checkout lady and leave w/o looking back, thinking to myself there has to be something better to carry! Alas! What happens next? A sign from the heavens?? Is it possible!? A post! A post from Georgio with reference to a place that carries all manner of facinating toys of various calibers! A virtual cornicopia of self defense delights for the eye to behold! Wait!! What's this??? A lipstick mace? Oh the wisdom! To think! One might look sexy whilst spraying the crap outa someone! Oh the joy! The happiness! I cannot contain my rapture! Can it be??!!
LOL, okay seriously, is this site safe to order from because there are some things that I want! LOL!!! Although, I didn't see any numchucks, whats up w/that?
hahah. I keep trying to vision you in tribal makeup, your dogs in cammo with fake antlers taped to their heads, you Mallory rising out of a garbage can ready sniper style, with the blow gun aimed at ANY of the multiple targets at this house. fade to black and the whole family wakes in a different neighborhood taped to one another two dog crates at their feet Hahah.
I feel bad for the poor kids. I mean how well can they be doing now and later in life?
I just got back from driving a HUGE GS to this "adopter" when I got there it was a smallish home, little tiny fenced in driveway, but the catch was that the family who called weren't living IN this house. they lived under it. They rented this one room garage where the lady slept lived and cooked for her family of 3 grown boys, Her own "tenant" some guy, her kids kid, a stove and washing machine made up their furniture, and now she wanted this dog for a present for her kids. NO!
But what I'm getting at is why on earth do people take on a liability machine like pit bull(s) when obviously they have far more precious animals needing their attention and care? You may now notice everything, but your kids? This is sad to me.

Yes its safe. My dad was a cop all my life, mom too. I went from the academy into the military then into personal security and nigh club bouncing. So I was conned as a kid to find a "toy" at the local police supply on Sat's. Hah. Dad was all to happy help his kid shock himself or pick a lock. Now, if your kind isn't wearing a helmet for everything, your arrested. times have changed, but I still buy drawers full of this stuff, but I have no non furry kids.
also see their self defense weapons pages. They offer the best items for the cheapest I have found.
Sometimes I use the bugs and plant them in my dog crates. It allows me to hear what the dogs are planning and I counter.
I have to say that they are more then the others, but the ABT brand batons are available with a flashlight at one end and the telescoping baton on the other, and if you walk at night the light is great for checking collar placement, seeing what the dogs are trying to pick up off the street, and changing a lead from double ring to active, anything really. I use it every day, and it certainly makes me THINK that I'm safer against dogs.
Sadly with the lax attitude of some dog owners, you MUST have an emergency plan when walking dogs in public. I am no hunter Like Ed, but we have several dogs and cats missing with the now prevalent Coyote invasion here. I'm not sure if they will approach a dog on a lead with a human, but hey, I'm not waiting to find out. Its a safe and fair tool I feel. You are in control of it unlike mace or a stun gun, both of which can turn on you by wind or even contact with the attacker. Sticks and stones my friends. God left them there, us um when needed.

You just did a huge service for people who walk their dogs in public. I've never had any problems what so ever but I'm ordering a telescoping baton. What the heck, you never know.
My dad is a cop, and both parents were in te Marines, so yeah, i grew up with all kinds of "toys".
I am still the only kid i know who has actually shot a machine gun, and can field strip an AK47, though i don't know that i am proud of that.
I do need to invest in some of those thing though, aside from stray dogs, i walk home from school, often late at night after rehearsals, and i live in te ghetto. I have a rape whistle that campus police gives everyone, but it's kind of a joke, i don't know that i could take that seriously, where as a stick or mace, i could do that.
