i figured i would do a separate post for each of my dogs, but under the same thread.Really, i am just bored.
First up is Bart.
Bart will be 2 years old on the 23rd of this month. He is about 45 lbs, and has a permanent 5'oclock shadow.
I got him at 11 weeks. He was the absolute perfect pup, most well mannered, up until he turned one.
Then, from a combo of turning one, and going to the dog park(big mistake), he became very dog aggressive.
I handled everything correctly, but i couldn't control the other owners or dogs, so it didn't really get better until i stopped going.
So now, he is doing so much better! We can meet new dogs, and have some playdates, and he doesn't go off on them anymore.
He loves people, i mean everyone!!!! And he is the cutest dog ever, your classic disney pup, he looks kinda like Tramp, and is just as cocky!

Next, i got Maya.
I found an ad in the paper for a pointer mix-so i called, and went to get her. Bart was having some separation issues, and having dog sat some, he did better having another dog around, so that's why i was looking.
Anyway, i got there, and there ws this little short little dwarfed dog chained up in the back , clearly frustrated.
I took her home, and discovered how active she was, and that she was a little heeler!
She took over bart the first day, and they hit it off!
though process of elimination, and watching her habits, i figure the other half is Corgi. She herds, bites heels(i broke her of that with people), and will stare down anything that moves in that crouch ready to get 'em.
She is a total b*tch(not in the literal sense!), and will have the last word in, even as she is on her way to her crate, she is mouthing off. If anything happened to me, she would totally take over, she is my beta, the "enforcer". she's great though, and has made so much progress, from being a fear biter and heel nipper to being more confident, and less inclined to strike.

And next up is roxie.
She is a Rottie/Giant Schnauzer.
I got her form our local rescue. She was seized from her former owner, pregnant with 11 pups, bullet wounds and a stomach full of rocks. She was only 1.5. She is about 2 now.
She was a terrified little girl, scared of everyone and everything.
But she quickly warmed up, and is totally goofy. Now, she is bossing Bart around, chasing squirrles, and LOVES to swim, and dig. Of course, the only time to dig is when you are sopping wet
She is so funny, she is a wiggle butt, whenever i walk over to her, she wiggles, and falls over at my feet, tongue hanging out grinning like a crazy dog.

Mallory,
Loved your pictures and descriptions of your dogs. You really have a way of describing their little personalities!
P.S. We also have a Roxie in our household.

Bart looks like (at least partly) an Irish Wolfhound. Great pack of pups.
