How is Duncan doing after round 2? I'm sure it was a long weekend... How did the first plate look in the X-rays?

Tasha is 26 days past surgery 2 and is back to her old self again. This am she brought me my sandals, dragged her leash from the basket and demanded (her nag bark) to go for a walk.

It was all worth it... Hang in there and I'm thinking about you guys...

So glad to hear Tasha is getting back to her ol self. I know one day soon I will be saying that about Duncan. His 2nd TPO was done this past Friday. This specialist we went to is about an hour drive. I was concerned about the right plate being healed so they said they would call us as soon as they did the xray. Sure enough, about half way home, they called and the plate and screws were in perfect and the bone had completely healed like it was supposed to. So happy to hear that. So we picked him up Saturday morning after the 2nd TPO was done Friday. He seems to be doing good, he's eating and drinking better than the first time. Pain in the butt giving him his medicine! We make a meatball out of wet dog food and stick the pills in there, but he's so smart, it's like he knows they are in there so sometimes we have to literally open his mouth and stick the meatball in his mouth hold it shut until he swallows it! I can't wait to be able to take him for walks too. I loved taking him for walks and really miss that. We also played a lot in the yard where I'd throw sticks, he'd run after it etc.... I miss that too as I'm sure he does! Hopefully in about 6-8 weeks, this long process will be over with and we'll be back to normal.

Lets keep in touch! In two weeks, the stitches will be out, yeah!
