I knew that fabric softener was toxic, so i didnt want to get any on them, the stuff I put in the water bottle was literally 1 tsp to a new bottle of febreeze and I let the beds dry before I put them back down.
I ended up using a teeny teeny bit of my conditioner (its from whole foods and pretty darn natural, scented with lavender essential oil)I rubbed a little bit into my hands and then rubbed it on to them and went over it with a wet rubber curry comb type thing.
I also did my laundry today and washed my nicer stuff and hung it up to dry on a rack inside, that should help put some moisture in the air.
I'll be buying a humidifier soon though, its murder on skin and hair to have this little moisture.
