will Capone know that these two pups are his?
I mean, i'm sure he knows that they came from the same house as him, he could smell them being born, etc. But the pups were kept in a cage inside, and he was kept chained outside.
does he know they are sugar's pups and his?
Do they know he is dad?
i am letting them play together, supervised of course, and he is just fantastic with them!
he is so good, he would likely be great with any puppy, but i was just curious if at least while they are still young, if males recognize pups(that are born and kept on same property)?
I don't think that they do understand. They may smell familiar, but I don't think that they recognize the fact that they are "his" or that he is their dad. Just a great friend to play with.
But I do think that as wonderful as he is with the babies shows what a great dog that he is. Gentle and forgiving. How lucky you are.
It also may give you a clue about the temperments of the babies later...
