There seem to be two doggie DNA testers -- Heritage, which tests for 38 breeds, and uses a mouth swab and Wisdom, which tests for LOTS of breeds, and uses a blood sample taken by your vet. Since I've got a genuine Heinz57, I used the latter. Expecting a Sheltie/Aussie/everything else mix, I was startled to find that (according to Wisdom) my mutt is a Border/Bedlington/Collie/English Cocker/Havanase/lordknowswhatelse mix. How reliable are these tests?
