Hi..I have been feeding my 4 rat terrier pups the leerburg formula with stonyfield farm plain whole milk yogurt. When dad went to the store he got stonyfield farm plain lowfat yogurt it is the same except it has vitD3 added..is this ok to feed? I know that you can't feed store milk and was wondering if this was the reason..should I feed this formula or leave out the yogurt and just feed goat milk , egg yolk and karo? they need to be fed NOW SO please let me know. Thanks Rachel

Well, I know zero about new-puppy-feeding, but I will go way out on a limb and say that one feeding with the slightly wrong yogurt is probably OK. Again, that's from a zero-experience POV.
But .... Puppy folks? Low-fat yogurt OK for a meal or two? With Vitamin D added?
I would say it's probably fine, but it does not have enough fat in it to feed them more than a few feedings. If you are using whole goat milk you should be fine. You want as many calories as possible for little pups. Dont think the vitamin D will hurt. I think when I made formula for my pups the yogurt had vitD. How old are they?
