Norman, your video and the advice listed here are very helpful. I am very curious as to how you drop treats from your mouth (at least that's what it looks like you did a couple times?). Also, it seemed in one video that you are holding a long piece of food which you seem to let the dog bite or nibble. Is that correct & if so what is the treat you are using. Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Gail you are indeed correct on both of your observations. I use jumbo hot dogs and feed the strips between my thumb and palm so the dog gets a flat hand negating somewhat there nipping. Additionally I don't have to keep reaching in my pocket breaking the dogs concentration. I take the hot dog and cut it in half and then each strip in half again. If the dog can catch food from your mouth focus is that much easier especially on recalls. Norman
