Phoenix had all of her puppy shots.
That the vet told me to get.
FYI 4 sets of shots
I do not want to get anymore shots for her of course.
But my vet told me that she will not give me her heartguard I do not get her shots she is do this month.
I really don't have the money to get her heartguard at another vet.
They want to do a heartworm test and all that.
I don't have the money for all that.
I am a secruity guard but I have to start at mc donalds tomorrow
cause my secruity company does not have any work right now.
So I have been out of work for a while.
The only person that I will let boss me around that much is my momma. I would get a new vet. There is no need for them to try to strong-arm you around. Remember, they work for you.
Also, if you look hard I bet you can find a vet that will help out. The ones around me offer payment plans. A small weekly payment could make things more affordable.
Even if the regular vets don't carry accounts, I'm almost positive that most ER vets do. I bet they have or can get what you need.

I agree. Maybe first try nicely reminding them that your dog is your resposibility, and the decisions regarding her health are yours to make even is he doesn't agree. Vets provide a service, as Michael says, they work for you. I can't believe he would try to hold you hostage like that. If he still refuses, maybe call some other vets and explain the situation to them. If they know that your dog has been on heartworm preventitive without a break, and this is due to a conflict with your vet, they may waive the heartworm test.
Also, when you change vets, the old one must send copies of all your records to the new one, so the new vet will have the proof she needs.
