There are a few groups in your area. There is the BARC group down near Sacramento, Mike Ellis I believe is within a couple hours of you, and Sharon Novak does MondioRing in your area. The contact information for each of these groups should be on the respective organizations websites http://www.ringsport.org and http://www.usmondioring.org
Are you specifically looking for FR training or ?? I think there are also some PSA groups in your area.

There is a breeder of Beaucerons in Woodlake that does French Ring......PM me and I'll find her contact info for you. I saw them working some dogs years ago when I lived in San Diego and I believe they are still active in the sport.
Sacramento is 500 miles from San Diego.It's Northern California.
LOL Oops I knew that. For some reason I thought she was asking about the San Francisco area. Since I live in the San Diego area, I know a lot more about the trainers available :-)
Meagan, there are a number of FR clubs down here. My club, So Cal All Breed Ringers, trains in the Long Beach and Riverside areas (we travel to various fields). There is the SoCalMal club out in Banning. The Beauceron breeder Saffron mentioned is Debbie Skinner out in Auanga. There is a club in Oceanside called Extreme Ring Dogs and another group that is training in the Riverside area called West Coast K9 Protection Sports. We just held a trial last weekend and they had a number of dogs in the trial who did really well. Thuan Ha should be the contact person for that group.
The contact information for all of these groups should be on the NARA website. West Coast K9 Protection Sports isn't up there yet, but should be next time the site is updated or you can PM me and I'll see if I can dig up the information.
