Here in WI you can be a vet or a chiropractor.

Ours is not a vet either but we have a customer who flys a specialist in from New England twice a year. IMO I like our guy better. The expert DVM charges more and talks more but very little difference. That said there are too many people out there that went away for a weekend school and now want to do horse message therapy. Legally they are unable to do acupuncture or call themselves chiropractors. Michelle

Your best bet is to get somebody that is certified thru the AVCA http://www.animalchiropractic.org/ It is open to vets and chiropractors alike. As with anything, do your research. There's good and bad in every single activity in this country
