One thing that got me to wonder. Is it a good idea to have fear biters and shy dogs to have remote colalrs? I don't think it is a problem if they use a collar that vibrates. I am not sure how I feel about an electric shock in those dogs? Has anyone used it? How effective are they on those types of dogs?
What do you guys think? If they are afraid of everything, when they got an electic shock. Wouldn't that make them even more afraid? I was just wondering.

It depends on what the correction is for. You don't correct a dog for fearful behavior with a leash and flat collar so don't do it with an e-collar. I use ecollars for recall and off lead work on all of my dogs/dogs I work with whether fearful or dominant. Ecollars are for training, afterall, not for punishment
