What is/are your favorite dog magazines? I am thinking about subscribing to a new one, and am not sure which ones are best. Right now I get The Whole Dog Journal, and really like it. I noticed there's one called Your Dog, which like WDJ doesn't accept advertising, but don't know if it's any good.

There's one called "German Shepherd Dog Council of Australia National Review", but since it's Australian, I have no idea if it has good info for U.S. - obviously all the ads/breeder info, etc are Australian. It's also expensive - $67.00 for 4 quarterly issues. If it still has good info re: the breed in general, it might be worth getting.

Dog Fancy is kind of fun, but there is always a lot of really basic stuff in it (how to choose a puppy, grooming, etc). I'm looking for something which is a little more informative to people who already know most of the basics...any suggestions?

Bloodlines (UKC publication) and a couple of others I have since forgotten.
I recommend WDJ for sure, Clean Run and Dog Sport. There is a good obedience one called Front and Finish which is next on my list to subscribe to. Clean run has published 4 special focus issues which are really good. The "Puppies" issue is excellent and so is the "Motivation, drive & self control issue". The other 2 are more agility focused.
Don't forget there are also some great Yahoo groups out there with some knowledgable people. I belong to agilitypoodle and huntingpoodle & a few others, including some RAW ones. However, most of my really good RAW info has come either directly or indirectly from this site. Also, I doubt you'll find a site with as much info about GSDs or anything else doggie than this one.
I definately enjoy my breed related groups, and the 3 mags that I mentioned.

I like Clean Run and Front and Finish also. Whole Dog Journal is another I subscribe to also. Dog World and Dog Fancy are probably a little light for a lot of folks here but interesting if you can get the subscriptions on special. Never heard of Dog Sport but I may try to look that one up. I enjoy Akita World and Doberman Digest too.

I am pretty sure that dog sport is only an online mag now. Sad to I was given some old issues by a friend, really good reading.

I don't have a subscription to anything right now, but I've been wanting to buy the old copies of "Fully Bully".
