I know Ed's videos discuss not letting the pups play freely with the older dogs. I found out my parents were letting my pup out of his kennel and letting him romp around with the older dog. I did the same to see what goes on and sure enough there was a point when the pup would try to paw at the older dog and even jump up on to the older dogs head with his front paws. he gnaws at her face and stuff. I immediately seperated the two and corrected the pup with a stern "no" and put him back in his kennel.
my concern is, how do I break this annoying behavior? most I can think of is taking out the pup when I get home and running off his energy...???
Clarify by spelling every little thing out. Some people can be extreme when drawing their own conclusions.
How do you break that annoying behavior?
Well, I'd have a heart-to-heart talk with the parents about respecting your wishes *not* to let the dogs interact.
But breaking annoying human behavior is never easy.
