Whaaaaat a piece-o-work..! (And they say the nuts roll to California?)
I mean, seriously, this whack-job can’t even rally broad support from the students he lectures; not alone a nation of dog lovers, meat-eaters, hunters, and OTHER radical “animal rights” activists. Truly; like a drunk preachin the Gospels, he’s all slur and no credibility!
Check just one comment from a USI student where Bozo recently spoke:
Quote:
”I really hope he takes his message to an African pride of lions. Then two good things can come of his venom; a beautiful species will be provided nourishment and a piece of human garbage will be removed.”
...Smart kid, rather typical response too (although we should be so lucky).
Point being is that, guys like this pinhead are their own worst enemy. Any other resistance against his ilk, pales by comparison. Notwithstanding, I nominate dimwit for a Dewfus of The Year Award!

I saw that comment, and the other ones below the interview. There are some sane people out there, but they don't seem to be gathering at the campuses. If you look here:
he has a list of supportive comments from students, and FACULTY praising him and wanting him to return to thier classes next year to repeat his blathering. Maybe he tones it down during his presentations. I can't imagine any college, or sane human for that matter, accepting comments like were in the interviews he gave. At least I would hope they wouldn't tolerate it.

Melissa, I'm sure you've heard of boycotts? Protests? Letters to politicians? How about tax-payer funded campuses?
Someone wants to brainwash my kids with their brand of fanaticism, they HAVE to go through me and my tax dollars first.
Although not quite the topic for this board yes I have heard of all of that but I still stand by my original statement. Public campuses are supported by everyone's tax dollars. Even the nut jobs. Higher education is a place for learning and you cannot learn critical thinking without at least exposing yourself to the thought "am I wrong about my beliefs."
I personally have walked by protests on the way to class to listen to lectures from foreign diplomats, business leaders, civil rights leaders, comedians, and gay rights activists have listened to and even been tested on the points brought up, and managed to continue to disagree/agree with them without feeling like I'd been influenced one way or another. More often than not it supplies me with real backing for a viewpoint I already had or allows me to question a view I already have by giving me a thought conclusion I hadn't considered before.
Usually by probing a conclusion I can find if the foundation of the thought by one of these guest speakers is one that has been twisted to manipulate others into seeing their side of things or if it has a firm foundation in reality.
Anyway, now that I think I've wandered off the main subject far enough I don't support this guy or anything he does but you have to consider that to completely bar the guy is to open yourself up to your beliefs being barred from the public forum as well. I personally think dog training or any animal training which is covered at some schools could use imput like what is offered here by the members this board even if it's not considered the popular choice.
Hey, Im a college student and I can say honestly that college kids are the most gullible creatures on this planet. every extremist campagn can come here and tell them that their are breaking free and thinking for themselves if they just support this guys views, and they fall for it...
of course there are the exceptions to every rule but theres a reason why these things go to college campus' to get strong followings...
OMG thank you for saying that - and it just goes to show how many parents either aren't 'really' teaching their kids to think for themselves OR how easily influenced that age group really is. I sure as heck won't give MY money (that my husband and I have worked VERY hard to provide for our family) to a college that isn't really interested in educating my child in the finer points of their chosen degree but instead would pump them full of rhetoric of the liberal kind. BLECH and PETA's leader (what the CRAP is her name?) is psycho enough - calling for the elimination of all pitbulls - that's a wonderful ethical answer to the pitbulll dilema. ... mod edit ....
