Has anyone ever used Mometamax for an ear infection? I read one of the side effects is hearing loss so I am scared to use it. Please share your experience. Thank you.

Kimberly
Is this a senior dog?
I might not choose it for a senior, even though the possible hearing loss is usually temporary, and occurs in (I think) a very small percentage of seniors.
I have not looked it up lately, but that's what I remember about Gentamycin, the med in it.
My male Jody is prone to ear infections and I have been using it whenever he contracts one. Fortunately deafness has not been a problem, and yes it does clear up the ear infection quickly.
