Does it ever get bad in the freezer as far as losing any nutrional value, etc if you keep it more than 6 months? year? My brother has a 1/4 beef in his freezer that he says i can have for my dogs, I'm not sure how long he's had it so I wanted to know so then i can see if it's worth getting it

I was all excited when he told me I could have it - I think my family thinks I'm alittle strange getting all happy over finding free raw meat for my dogs I had some chicken liver or gizzards one time that got "lost" in the freezer and when I found them months later they looked all dehydrated so I tossed them cuz they looked old or something. Maybe organ meat is different? thanks
