Well, in my opinion too, as I was doing the testing!
What is presented is a portion of the Flinks temperament test ( with just a tad more stress ) on the males of the litter bred by Jason and whelped by Betty.
The Dam was bred by Leerburg ( Spy ) amd was a dog that I had thought about getting years ago ( I was unable to due to life getting in the way, and I'm still kicking myself for it. )
The three males were nicely confident and outgoing, the number one male scored as high as my dog Fetz and was immediately snatched by one of my club members. ( With his Mega-drives, she'll be sorry )
This will be a fun puppy to watch mature in our club!
The other two males were only one and two points below in score, the highest litter score I've seen in years.
I would have dressed nicer had I know that the video was going to be posted, lol!
Testing a litter like this was a real joy to behold.

Thanks Will!
It was nice to hear it confirmed that my impressions were correct and that we had 3 good solid working dogs. I was so happy with all of them I was starting to wonder if I was already suffering from kennel blindness. <eek>
The boys are a hoot! Have started them on scent boxes just to keep them busy!

Depends on your plans for the dog. Noise reactivity could be a sign of weak nerves. Think of the dogs that freak out on the 4th of July or thunderstorms. Normally that is genetic and is the reason for the gunshots during schutzhund.
Ideally we are looking for a minimal reaction with a quick recovery time. This pup kind of aced it when not only did he just look over his shoulder he ran over there to investigate the neat noise.
I have yet to see this litter react strongly or even startle significantly to any loud noises. The two brothers that I still have go to work with me a couple of days a week now and have been exposed to dumpsters being emptied, air compressors, dump trucks and heavy equipment. Rock solid on it.
