Yesterday I gave my 6 month old chi her 1rst chicken drumstick, before that she was fed chicken without bone. To my horror a small tooth was discovered the next day. My question is as follows:
Was the drumstick too big for her or do puppies change teeth around this this age?
I hope somebody will have an aswer as I dread to go to my vet who freaked out about the raw diet.
Puppys will teeth up to 7 months or so, I don't think there is a reason to be worried. Just keep an eye on things. Was the tooth a whole tooth or a part of a tooth? If it was a whole tooth it's most likely teething as it is in the time frame for it to happen.
