Petsmart is using Gayle to attract larger and working breeds to the PS training programs. Basically, she brings her show lines into the store and when she meets someone assures them they can bring their dog to one of her classes because she will be gearing them toward working lines. Folks, it's the same old curriculum.
Yep, I got my money back and had a nice conversation with the manager. It's pretty easy to verify when someone states they are an AKC judge, SV judge, helper, and has shown nationally and internationally. I checked and checked trying to giver her the benefit of the doubt.
I don't have anything against her personally other than the misrepresentation of the training. I withdrew and got a refund but the manager quickly shared my name and telephone number. She called for a confrontation. I'm not interested in confrontation only in properly training my dog and the "regular Petsmart curriculum is not what I'm looking for." Training ops are limited in my area but I guess I'll stick to training alone.
Oh! She is also encouraging those who have goals for titling their dogs or training in Schutzhund to come to a local park for training. She is charging for the sessions, of course.
Long story. As I said, I have nothing against her personally but I feel that it is wrong to continually misrepresent onself. It seems to be a pattern, doesn't it?

Complain to corporate if you want to get her in trouble. Running her own classes is in violation of the non-competition agreement that every PetSmart employee signs when they start working at PetSmart.
