I've read a few times that people will not use a dog who has both Mink vom Haus Wittfeld & Fero vom Zeuterner Himmelreich and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this please?

In order to keep some diversity in bloodlines there are breeders who specifically stay away from these lines, since they are so common that it is often hard to find a dog that doesnt have Fero or Mink in the pedigree. If all dogs have mink and fero in the lines it limits the gene pool considerably.
