Hi - my name is Cate - I've been a member of this board for a while, but I have never posted....and I thought that that was about time.
I have two dogs (and a half - my dad and I share our mix-rescue Jay when I am home from School).
My first is a 13 month old bitch named Ruby - she was imported from Holland (FCI papered WSSD) last June and she is how I learned about SchH - she is a solidly nerved, medium drived dog. Right now we're training for SchH, SDA, and Herding.
Here's a picture from a couple of weeks ago when she first started on the sleeve (I'm the one in the corner with the Virginia Tech shorts and the blindingly white leg)
And my second pup is an 8 month old pup from KY. He's my schH baby - I've done some herding with him - but I am going to wait till he is a little older until I do more with him. He's got good nerves, and alotta drive.
I look forward to meeting and talking to ya'll. I'm still very new to the sport (both protection sport and herding...but I have high goals ) and I'm sure I'll have alot of questions
