Can anybody recommend any good books/videos or material I can get my hands on that will enable me to better translate the language of my pup???
I can pretty much understand most of what she says i.e "I want to play," "I was only playing," "why can't that be a play thing?" etc you know what pups are like.
Thing is if my pup is developing undesirable charecteristics, like barking at my wife and almost demanding to be entertained by her, then I need to know if that behaviour should be curbed or if it is o.k for an 8 week old GSD to act in that way. She doesn't bark at me when she wants to play and even though her tail is going like the clappers when she barks at my wife I feel that I should really gain a good base to work from so that if I end up with a 9 stone adult GSD bitch she is not dominating my other family members.
Would those with a few years training/breeding under their belt let me know what's what from their experience please.
