Not familiar with any of the dogs in the pedigree, all I know is that the sire is Czech But the working potential of the individual dog should be evaluated on a dog by dog basis. Your dog is 18 months old, that's plenty old enough to get some idea of what he is made of.
Is there a specific reason you are asking? Is there a problem you are having in particular?
No, no problems. I just got him 8 days ago. So, I am still in the pack structure stage. I have the DVD building drive and focus. In the DVD he says that thru the program you can get the dog to its full genenic potential.
The Sire is from 100% Czech lines and the mother is from Slovakia. The mothers side has 100% working lines. Every dog in her pedigree is titled in one way or another.
I know that each dog is different. I do not know anything about pedigrees. I would think that my dogs potential is high based on the pedigrees of his parents.
I'm not great with the whole pedigree thing either, but I noticed both parents were OFA'd "fair", which means "permissible to breed but not recommended". You might want to have him checked out by your vet just to be on the safe side.
I think your pedigree will give you some information if you are looking at a puppy but at 18 months, WYSIWYG. The breeder has not put any working titles on her breeding stock so you really don't know whether or not they bring much to the plate. You know how very different human siblings can be ...... same with dogs.
I would want hip, elbow, and back x-rays of any young adult working prospect - not old enough to OFA but old enough for a prelim or at least a good evaluation. I would DEFINITELY do that with OFA-Fair parents and the overall lack of hip ratings.
