The other thing to remember is that dogs do not know what is fair or not fair. It is us, as humans, that link these characteristics to the dogs.
Dogs need to learn what is expected of them and them alone by you, the pack leader.
Right!
And a dog who has an hour of play and training (and yes, marker training IS fun, and even better, it tires the dog) followed by an hour of snoozing is a happy dog.
Thank yall.
Yes baby is only here tell august her dad is in jail and she is all white so she cant live outside which the people that had her before me had her outside all the time with no shelter.
She has already been bounced from family member to family member in the one month he has been in jail.
So I want to keep her so she does not have more problems and I know somewhat how to train her better then some thanks to this site. and the information on this site.
They are seperated for now and phoenix is at my moms place for the rest of the day. we where thinking qbout sending baby to my mom who has no other pets expect for a old cat who does not mind dogs and I can still see her everyday and train her all the time.
Anyone think this is mabye a good idea
Ya she is a pit mix so most in the family dont want to deal with her she is a big baby. Her name fits her great.
we are going to send her to my moms place we live with in walking distance 2 minute walk. Our apartments back up to each others.
So I will work with her everyday and she can get run time in the house. And not be kenneled as much as she would have to be and phoenix either. I am trying to get pictures but my cameria on my phone is acting up. She is doing better and her dad is a great guy he just did something he should not have. And got caught up in some mess. He loves her thats why he asked me to take her. So she will be here but at my moms still inside and contuning her training as planned.
I will keep yall posted on her leash training and such.
But she is very smart
